1. Moving Past the "Single Region" Comfort Zone

We’ve all been there. You start with a robust setup in a single region like us-east-1. It’s easy and familiar until you land your first big customer in Singapore. Suddenly, that user is dealing with a massive physical delay just for the data to travel across the ocean and back.

To hit sub-100ms, you have to move the compute to the user. This means shifting toward Multi-Region Active-Active architectures. Instead of having one "brain" and many "caches," you deploy full stacks in strategic global hubs. This isn't just about speed; it’s about survival. If one region goes dark, your users in the rest of the world shouldn't even notice a flicker.

2. Multi-CDN: Don't Put Your Eggs in One Edge

Relying on a single Content Delivery Network (CDN) is a gamble that eventually fails. We’ve seen major global outages where a single misconfiguration at a top-tier provider took down half the internet. If your business depends on being "always on," a single CDN is a single point of failure.
